South Jersey Energy is accepting applications for its annual “Energy for the Arts” grants program. Fifteen $1,000 grants will be awarded to support local art programs for school-aged children.

Eligible applicants must be school-based, competitive art programs serving children in any grades K-12 within Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester or Salem counties. The programs must include, but are not limited to, visual art, drama/theatre, music, dance, or media arts.

Applicants who meet the criteria of the grant will be selected randomly through a lottery system and announced on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
