HARBOR TOWNSHIP
– The Current Newspapers and shorenewstoday.com were presented with the Seven Seals Award the by New Jersey Employer Support Guard and Reserve Jan. 14.

The award, depicting the seals of the seven military services, recognizes efforts by a citizen, business or organization whose supportive actions have benefited all of the Reserve components in a significant manner. Recipients do not necessarily employ National Guard and Reserve employees, but have demonstrated outstanding support, commitment, and extreme patriotism to the United States military.

"The New Jersey Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is especially proud to present this award to Shore News Today for its continued efforts to bring the commitment and sacrifice of our National Guard and Reserve troops to the forefront of the public's attention," said Donna Clementoni, director of employer outreach for ESGR.

Noting that 48 percent of the nation's total force comes from the Guard and Reserve components, she said The Current is doing its part toward our national defense by bringing their stories and those of their supportive employers to the public's attention.

Any business that would like to symbolically affirm its support for our National Guard and Reserve troops can contact Clementoni at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
