• TRENTON — As of Monday, May 14, all four lanes of the new Route 52 bridge and causeway are open and traffic is flowing, Department of Transportation spokesman Tim Greeley said Tuesday morning.

  • OCEAN CITY — The city will defend and indemnify four city police officers in a suit brought against them in December by Robert Petnick.

    The move was authorized 4-2 at the May 10 council meeting, with Councilmen Roy Wagner and John Kemenosh voting against the resolution, and Councilmen Michael Allegretto, Tony Wilson, Keith Hartzell and Councilwoman Karen Bergman voting in favor. Councilman Scott Ping was absent.

  • OCEAN CITY — Council approved the introduction of an ordinance appropriating $2.65 million from the city's COAH development fee trust fund to the capital budget in order to address the city's fair share obligation, at its May 10 meeting.

    OCEAN CITY — Parking meter rates won’t increase in the downtown, but City Council did agree to extend enforcement hours and time limits on the meters at its May 10 meeting.
