Dog Shack, Uncle Joonie’s and Mallon’s celebrate with ribbon cuttings

The Dog Shack, 1136 Boardwalk OCEAN CITY — Mayor Jay Gillian was busy Thursday, July 12 cutting ribbons all around town with Ocean City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and wife Michele Gillian.

The Gillians made a stop at Mallon’s in front of Gillian’s Wonderland Pier at Sixth Street, as well as The Dog Shack at 1136 Boardwalk and Uncle Joonie’s at 955 Asbury Ave. to celebrate the opening of the three stores. This is Mallon’s third Ocean City location and its first on the boardwalk. The Dog Shack replaced Laura’s Fudge and Uncle Joonie’s took over the former Scully’s cafe.
