Southend bike parade celebrates Independence Day

OCEAN CITY — Kids, and grownups, decorated their bikes, wagons and more for the annual Independence Day parade in Ocean City's south end Wednesday, July 4.
The winners of the 2012 South Ocean City Improvement Associations Fourth of July bike parade by age group are as follows.
3 and under: first place, Anthony, Colby and Caden Costa of Villanova, Pa.; second place, Brynlee Zahler of Ocean City; third place, Fedyna of Madison.
4-7: first place, Riley Laudadio of Berwyn, Pa.; second place, Monica DelGuidice of Haddon Heights; third place, Christina Flanagan of Springfield, Pa.
8 and older: first place, Goldie Gravlich of Henryville, Pa.; second place, Brenden Kelley of Harleysville, Pa.; third place, Carter and Brandon Hubbard of Egg Harbor Township.
Family: first place, the Riebe family of Ringoes; second place, the downing family of Washington Crossing, Pa.; third place, the Battle family of Wynnewood, Pa.
Groups: first place, 37th Street Bach is Heaven on Earth of Ocean City; second place, Fun in the Sun of Ocean City; third place, 42nd Street Freedom Riders of Bryn Mawr, Pa.
