Slime time

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – Kicking off its summer kids series, the Shore Mall offered a free children’s activity on Friday, June 22. More than 24 families participated in making “slime,” during the hands-on workshop offered by Ocean City-based Kidz Creations. Owner Lisa Klassman gave a short lesson on polymers and gave the kids examples of familiar polymers like Jell-O. The children were then able to mix their own slime and bring a cup of the green goo home for more playtime. The mall’s next free event is on Friday, July 6 at 11 a.m. when performers Candy and Cupcake present songs and stories.
