EHT meeting to address billboard

To the editor:

If any of your readers are concerned with the LED billboard on the Margate causeway, please attend the Egg Harbor Township Planning Board meeting 5:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at the township Municipal Building. The Margate commissioners prepared a resolution and a letter opposing it, and we plan to attend the meeting. 

 As we enter a new year, I look forward to working with the rest of our commission to help Margate become more fiscally healthy in an effort to reduce our property taxes. There will be a public meeting 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan 10 at Union Avenue School to discuss the budget, and Margate residents are encouraged to attend and provide input.
