Excitement was bouncing off the walls of the gymnasium at the Ventnor Educational Community Complex as teachers and administrators welcomed students and parents on the first day of school Thursday, Sept. 6.
The rainy morning didn’t dampen any spirits as Interim Superintendent Robert Baker welcomed guests before they entered the gymnasium.
“Isn’t it the best thing when every year we get to start over again,” Baker said. “It’s wonderful. The kids are excited and some of the parents are even more excited.”
Back to school night is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 for the Ventnor Middle School and 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 for the Ventnor Elementary School.
