VENTNOR – The newly opened Wellington Plaza had a grand opening celebration Saturday, June 30 welcoming customers to the newly renovated building of stores and offices.
The 5215 Wellington Ave. location, next to Ventnor City Fire Department Station No. 2, is the home to Plaza Discount Liquors, Lacovara Public Adjusters, Daja Hair Salon and New City Fellowship of Atlantic City.
Gregory Gregory of Gregory’s Restaurant and Bar in Somers Point served as the emcee, welcoming a large crowd to the grand opening of the plaza.
Gregory said the building features eight offices and shops in the building and nearly 70 parking spots.
He said the building was designed by SOSH architects in Atlantic City.
Rev. Santo Garofalo, pastor of New City Fellowship of Atlantic City, performed a blessing of the building.
Mayor Mike Bagnell performed the ceremonial ribbon cutting and wished all the businesses luck in the city.
