Hafetz & Associates named outstanding corporation for 2011

MARGATE – Hafetz & Associates, an independent insurance company serving Atlantic and Cape May counties, has been named the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ 2011 Outstanding Corporation of the Year for South Jersey.
In 2006, the agency made a five-year commitment to Jewish Family Services of Margate with a donation to the FamilyLifeCenter. That funding enabled the JFS to start a program that now serves more than 100 families in AtlanticCounty with educational workshops, wellness events and support programs.
“Scott Hafetz and the Hafetz team are always giving back, whether volunteering, donating or helping to find alternative fundraising opportunities,” said JFS Executive Director Andrea Steinberg. “They assist a variety of non-profits making a great impact for those in need in our community.”
