NORTHFIELD – The Assembly Tourism and the Arts Committee will hold a special public hearing on this region’s tourism industry, cultural and heritage attractions, and fine and performing arts 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Dante Hall, 14 N. Mississippi Ave. in Atlantic City, Assemblyman Chris Brown announced.

"Over 55,000 local jobs depend on people visiting our boardwalks and docks, beaches, rivers, and lakes, casinos and hotels, restaurants, wineries and farms, museums, historic and cultural sites, and theaters,”  Brown said.  “This is a tremendous opportunity for local residents, business owners and artists to raise the critical issues we face.”

Brown thanked Committee Chairman Matt Milam for bringing the committee to Atlantic City.
