CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE – Don Freiday will talk about photographing birds and wildlife at the Cape May County Library Wednesday, Feb. 1.

“Photographing Birds and Wildlife: It’s not about the camera” will begin at 7 p.m. at 30 Mechanic St. in Cape May Court House.

Freiday will share his philosophy and some favorite photos during the program. He focuses on tips about field craft and seeing the shot that's possible, rather than camera techniques.

Freiday is a naturalist, photographer and blogger.

He is a graduate of Rutgers University and is the regional coordinator for the New Jersey Breeding Bird Atlas and the co-author of two books, “A Precious Place, a Naturalist Explores New Jersey” and “Wild Journeys: Migration in New Jersey.”
