The Melillo family took two week traveling in their motor home in
Maine. Luke, Eileen, Luke and Gina started in Bar Harbor/Acadia
National Park then headed north for whitewater rafting on the
Penobscot River and moose sightings along the Katahdin Mountain.
They are shown in Naples, Maine after a trip on the Songo Queen by
Lake Sabago.
The Gazette traveled to mid-coast Maine and made a
stop in Boothbay Harbor along with Alan and Betty Bevan of Ocean
City and Bruce Rahn of Seaville. Pictured with them is Bruce’s
sister, Pat Konover, who they visited at her summer home in
Rockland, Maine. The highlight of the trip was a stop at the annual
Lobster Fest, held every summer in Rockland.
Craig Peters of Ocean City was up in Jonesboro, Maine with the
Gazette during late April. He is standing with Tracy Watts and Will
Faulkingham, the owners of Jonesboro Custom Finish Shop. Craig was
there for the launching of his new boat, Fish Tale, which Tracy and
Will just completed building. Capt Craig is the owner of Fish Tale
Charters, LLC a charter fishing business in the Ocean City area.
Joe and Sue Niedziejko traveled north in April to
see the University of Maine field hockey team play in a tournament
at the University of New Hampshire. The Black Bears travel with the
Leader. Great job girls.
Happy as a Clamdigger in Maine
The Good Sams Clamdiggers Camping Club recently toured Maine and

Eats in Wiscasset, Me., where they traveled with the Gazette while
vacationing in Maine in July.
Friends in funny glasses
The Roesch, Garbutt, Lampe, Walker and
Hanggeli families spent a relaxing week on Lake Sebago in Maine --
and all put on their pink flamingo glasses to read The Current. They
enjoyed boating, fishing, kayaking, golfing, and eating lobster, of

Karen Hanggeli. All are residents of Galloway Township and have
camped in several locations along the eastern coast.
On the lake in Maine
Doug, Diane, Devan and Karli Adams of Egg Harbor
Township traveled with The Current to Weld, Maine. They spent the
week at the home of Karl and Barbara Schilling, which overlooks Lake
Webb and Mount Blue. They enjoyed climbing Mount Blue, paddle
boating, kayaking and tubing on Lake Webb.

Counsellor are shown with their granddaughter, Ashley Counsellor, of
Ocean City, with the Gazette, which traveled to Maine with them to
photograph lighthouses. Their first stop was Portland Head Light, in
Portland, Me.
Gemma Van Epps (left) and
