Some local residents enjoyed a January trip to the
Holy Lands and Egypt. Rev. Tom Perry, his wife Pat and Dot Wood, all
of South Seaville, and Harriett Reardon Bailey of Ocean View are
shown in Jordan at Petra. They are in front of the Treasury, a
building made of red sandstone. This 14th century city was buried
then discovered in 1812.
Rock of ages
Steve and Irmgard Imperiale of
Egg Harbor Township celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary
traveling to Egypt and Jordan. They are pictured here with their
copy of The Current standing in front of Al Khazneh, or “the
Treasury,” in Petra, Jordan. The 120-foot-high building is part of a
vast ancient city carved into solid rock.
