in Hamilton Township, is serving with the New Jersey
National Guard and is a chief warrant officer grade two. |

Cpl. Hartman was with Bravo Company, 4th Combat Engineer
Battalion supporting 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines in OIF
VIII-1 and recently returned home just in time to resume
school at Virginia Tech.

A long way from home, but staying informed, is Lt. Tom Walsh, who is
serving with the 9th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron stationed in the
Persian Gulf.

Major Beth Ann Lumpkin-Gambill is shown with the Gazette in
Iraq. She is responsible for flying out the wounded to
Landsthul, Germany or Aviano, Italy. Here she is on weekend
break at a hotel in Boha, the capital of Qatar. Beth Ann was
a Kohr’s ice cream girl while in high school and university
for her BSN/MSN in nursing. When she returns to the U.S.,
she will be stationed at McGuire AFB.

Battalion, 14th Marines. The Egg Harbor Township police
officer came home to a hero’s welcome April 21. |
