student at Clemson University, took her Upper Township
Gazette with her on spring break trip to London, England and
Dublin, Ireland. In the picture, she is on the London Eye
with Big Ben and Parliament behind her.

Louise and Ed
Andvess Jr. took the Gazette all the way to England. While visiting
a friend, he took them to see the Oxford Castle, in Suffolk, built
between 1163 and 1173 by Henry II.

While on a Trans-Atlantic
cruise from March 18 through April 4, Gordon and Jackie
Patrizio (left) of Ocean City and Bob and Eileen Hilly of
Seaville made a stop at the Island of Maleira. Maleira is
located 350 miles from North Africa. The cruise started in
Fort Lauderdale and finished in London.

A bridge not too
far

Northfield studied abroad on an internship with Towson University of
Maryland and the American Institute of Foreign Study in Kensington,
England. This picture was taken on the Thames River with the Tower
Bridge in the background and the Tower of London just beyond.

 Trip to King
Henry’s castle
Duke and
Samantha Becker of Galloway Township, along with their parents and
sister, Caitlyn, recently took The Current with them on their trip
to London, England. Duke and Sam are standing in front of Hampton
Court Palace, one of King Henry VIII’s famous castles. The family
was in London in November to visit Caitlyn, who is studying abroad,
taking in the history and sights of merry old England.

Scouting out Stonehenge
The
Sundra family of Northfield took a vacation to Great Britain in
August. Pictured left to right at Stonehenge are James, Joe and
Mary, who traveled to England to meet Katie, right, who was touring
with a group of 36 other Girl Scouts and leaders from the local
council. While there, they visited cousins of Mary’s, whom she
hadn't seen in 25 years and her husband and children had never met.

scores in Buckingham
The Hamilton
Blizzard Girls Soccer team traveled to London and Manchester,
England, July 21-30 to play in the Umbro International Soccer Cup.
The girls had fun and played well, finishing with a record of 3-2-1.

Bath England
The Gazette traveled
to the steps of the Temperance Statue outside the Roman Baths in the
city of Bath, England. Thirteen members and friends of the Knights
of Columbus, Madonna Maria Council 3560, of Sea Isle City, organized
by Joe Matyszcak, enjoyed a fun-filled 18-day tour of England,
Scotland and Wales. Unfortunately, Joe was not able to make the
