Alexandra Russo was on break from rowing with the U.S. Rowing Junior National Development camp recently. This year’s three-week camp was held in New London, Conn. and the team rowed out to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Alexandra rows for Ocean City High School.

Teachers’ summer break

 A group of teachers from Washington Avenue School in Pleasantville and their friends visited Foxwoods, Conn., in August for an end-of-summer break. They said they had such a fabulous time that they are looking forward to repeating the trip next summer.
