Dr. and Mrs.
Richard Grallnick of Margate traveled from Nov. 19 until Dec. 20
through Sydney, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; Bora Bora and
Moorea, Tahiti, and Nuku Hiva in French Polynesia. They spent 21
days on a cruise on the Regent Seven Seas Mariner, starting in New
Zealand and ending in Los Angeles, Ca., and the other 10 days on
land in Sydney, Australia. This picture with The Current was taken
in Nuku Hiva. The couple said they travel for one month each year
and finally remembered to bring The Current along. They said their
friends on board from all over the world loved the “little paper”
and thought the idea of taking a travel photo with it was “cute.”

Paul, Sally and Matt Will of North Cape May traveled to Western
Australia over the Christmas holiday. “Our family spent three weeks
exploring the surfing beaches of Margaret River, touring the famous
vineyards of the Sun River Valley and, pictured here with the
Gazette in hand, ready for a three-day tour of the ‘Aussie outback.’
When at home, Paul and Matt are local Cape May surfers and Sally
enjoys her kayak,” wrote Paul C. Will.

Sarah Fox is
shown here with Kris Ensley and the Gazette at the Sidney Bridge in
Australia. “I met Kris while he was stationed at the Coast Guard
base in Cape May. He, however, left for Bahrain last June for a year
tour. Kris and I met up for vacation (Dec. 29 to Jan. 14) on my
Christmas college break. Australia seemed like a great place to go.
We had a wonderful time,” wrote Fox.

In September, Diane Rinier (right), of Cape May Court House, took
her mother, Doris Seymour, also of Court House, on a
once-in-a-lifetime trip to Australia, where they posed in front of
the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Diane told us the trip was fantastic, not
including the travel time. Apparently their flight was 23 hours.
