NORTHFIELD Gold Coast Mortgage is in the business of making owning
a home in southern New Jersey affordable for their clients.
Their success hinges on the relationship with the communities in
which they work.
For that reason Lenny Tomassetti and Ron Paoloca, partners in Gold
Coast Mortgage, made a choice to get their company and their
employees involved in the communities they serve.
For example, school budgets cannot cover all of the demands of a
local school district. Tomassetti believes that local businesses can
afford to and should lend a financial hand to fill this void so he
said his company decided to help out where they could.
In 2006 the Northfield Community School needed financial backing for
a planned talent show, so Gold Coast covered the cost of the ad
books, food and prizes, turning an event that had been in jeopardy
into a successful fundraiser for the Northfield Community School
PTO.
In Vineland the company sponsored a similar dance show.
I have been very fortunate and my business has done very well,
said Tomassetti. I think its only fair I do my part to help as
well.
Committed to the idea that helping in a community is a shared
responsibility, the mortgage company sponsors soccer teams in the
Atlantic County league, adopts families at the holidays and
volunteers at the Halloween barbecue in Northfield.
Tomassetti also contracted a firm to build and service websites for
Gold Coast that provide local news, sports and information to the
communities they serve. Not only is it a helpful tool to Realtors
selling homes in the area, it provides residents with a window on
their communities.
