Community invited to eBay Day
Several community post offices have combined their knowledge and
expertise in hosting an eBay Day for individuals interested in
learning about eBay retailing and United States Postal Service
shipping services.
“More and more people are continuing to buy and sell on the
Internet,” said Whitesboro Acting Postmaster Melissa Lomax. “The
ease of accessing the Internet by your home computer, in your own
home, enables all of us to profit from those unused items lying
around. You can buy and sell in the comfort of your living room.
When your item sells, you can easily access the United States Postal
Service’s website, www.usps.com , to order free shipping supplies,
print your package labels, schedule a carrier pick-up, as well as
having the ability to upgrade your package with extra shipping
services. It’s so easy and convenient.”
The seminar will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is FREE and
being held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center, 207
West Main Street, Whitesboro, next to the Whitesboro Post Office, on
Tuesday, Nov. 27. Seats are available by reservation only by
e-mailing Melissa.T.Lomax@usps.gov by Nov. 25. Please be sure to
include your name, address, phone number and e-mail address on your
reservation request.
